What to Expect at LBC
Christ-Centered Worship.
A typical Sunday morning worship service will include a combination of traditional hymns, modern worship songs, and original compositions by our worship leader. Lively and Spirit-anointed, our worship team is multi-generational. The preaching is Bible & Gospel-based, with practical applications for spiritual growth as surrendered followers of Christ. Our desire is that every generation will feel comfortable and engaged, and the each person present will be led into genuine worship. Sunday Morning Bible Study for Adults, Youth, and Children starts at 9:45 AM before the worship service.
Authentic People.
When you visit LBC, you can expect a welcoming, family-friendly environment. You will notice a combination of Sunday dress styles ranging from button-up shirts to jeans and cowboy boots. We encourage fellowship before and after the service, so come ready to meet some folks!
Family Discipleship.
We are the family of God, and we invest in families. LBC has several Family Groups that meet throughout the week. These gatherings are casual and family-friendly. We typically share a meal together. They are also intentional. We fellowship, study the Word, and pray together. Through these multigenerational accountability and discipleship relationships, our aim is to equip families to grow in the Lord and be a witness to Him in their communities.
Youth and Children
The Lord has blessed LBC with a thriving ministry to youth and children. We have age-appropriate Bible Study on Sunday mornings for young people of all ages. Many of our adult members are involved in Wednesday Night Church (WNC), investing in and discipling the children and youth who attend. We recognize the biblical precedent to teach and train our youth and children about the love and works of the Lord, and we are passionate about doing that in a fun and impactful way.
Outward Service.
Our heart at LBC is for every member to be involved in loving and serving our community and the world. Whether you are passionate about serving the Lord here in Red River County, Texas or feel called to serve Him overseas on mission through our partnerships in Guatemala or Cambodia, LBC has opportunities for members of all ages to live out the Great Commission locally and beyond.
